            4th NATIONAL STUDENT PROJECT CONTEST - 2015

OVERVIEW

CSI Discover Thinking - National Student Project Contest and Expo is an academic initiative from Computer Society of India with an Aim to prepare students for a competitive information technology career. The objective is to encourage students from CSI Student Branches nationally to design innovative projects and improve their skill set to become market ready.  It provides an opportunity to demonstrate the projects with a strong social relevance.

ELIGIBILITY

Open only to CSI student branches who have done significant innovative project in the areas of IT. A team can have a maximum of 2 members and 2 teams from a Student branch are allowed to participate in the contest.

NATIONAL ROUND

The National round will evaluate the projects submitted from various CSI regions.  If required, teams will be asked to make detailed presentation along with the demo followed by the brief Q & A through Skype. The decision of the judges is final.

National Finals will be conducted at Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai on 14^th March, 2015.

REGIONAL LEVEL ROUND - PRIZE

1^st Prize ₹-3,000/- + Trophy + Certificate

2^nd Prize ₹-2,000/- + Trophy + Certificate

Certificates for all the participants.

NATIONAL  LEVEL ROUND

All participating members of teams will be provided to and from 2^nd Class Train Travel Fare from their town/City to Chennai for attending the National Finals. Their Accommodation and local hospitality during the period of the National Finals will be arranged by CSI.

NATIONAL  LEVEL ROUND - PRIZE

Winner -  ₹-15,000/- + Trophy + Certificate

Runner up -  ₹-10,000/- + Trophy + Certificate

Third Prize -  ₹-5,000/- + Trophy + Certificate

Certificates for all the participants.
